In the Dnepropetrovsk region in eastern Ukraine, a fire broke out at night after an explosion. This was announced on August 7 by the head of the regional administration, Sergei Lysak.

“The explosion was heard in the Sinelnikovsky district. There was a fire, which the rescuers have already extinguished, ”he wrote on Telegram.

According to him, there were no injuries or deaths as a result of the incident.

Currently, an air alert has been declared in the Kharkiv, Sumy and Poltava regions of Ukraine.

There were no official comments from the relevant departments and the Russian Ministry of Defense.

On the eve of the air raid on the night of August 6, sounded in Kiev and seven Ukrainian regions — in Kiev, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Vinnitsa, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad and Dnepropetrovsk, as well as in the part of the Zaporozhye region controlled by Ukraine.

On August 5, it was reported that more than 10 explosions thundered in the Khmelnytsky region. It is noted that most of the explosions occurred near the military airfield, which is located near the city of Starokonstantinov in the Khmelnytsky region. In turn, the head of the movement “We are together with Russia”, Vladimir Rogov, noted that there is an air base in that place, from which Su-24M front-line bombers take off, striking with Storm Shadow cruise missiles.

Russian military personnel began to strike at critical Ukrainian infrastructure from October 10 last year. As the head of state Vladimir Putin noted then, this was a response to the terrorist actions of the Kyiv regime, in particular on the Crimean bridge.
