In Kyiv, on May 1, interruptions in electricity and water supply were recorded, the Ukrainian edition of Strana.ua reported. They are observed in areas on the left bank of the Dnieper.

There were no official reports from energy companies or authorities about power outages, but in the morning the Kiev city administration notified that the pressure in the water supply network was reduced due to damage to the equipment of the pumping station.

“The pumping station is not working, and therefore it was decided to lower the pressure in the water supply network on the left bank. The approximate time for the elimination of damage will be one day, ”the city administration said in a statement, which was published on the Telegram channel.

Earlier in the day, the Ukrainian TV channel TSN reported that explosions were heard in Kyiv, as well as in the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. As told in the capital’s administration, an air defense system (air defense) is operating in Kyiv. According to Strana.ua, an air alert has been declared throughout Ukraine.

A day earlier, the RBC-Ukraine agency announced an explosion in the Dnepropetrovsk region. As the Zerkalo Nedeli newspaper wrote, the explosion sounded in Pavlograd.

Volodymyr Rogov, chairman of the “We are with Russia” movement, said that the Russian military hit the transport hub of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) in Pavlograd. He also added that two explosions were heard in Berdyansk.
