Unknown people handed dumplings to the 30th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as a result, 40 militants were fatally poisoned. This was reported on May 9 by the RT channel in the Telegram channel.

In the phone of the killed paratrooper of the 70th Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they found voice messages that talk about mass poisoning.

At the same time, the militant calls the volunteers who handed over the dish unverified and points out that after the incident, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were forbidden to accept humanitarian aid from strangers.

Earlier, on March 25, the Ukrainian media reported on the increasing number of convictions in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for drinking alcohol. At the same time, in one of the examples it was said that the defendant was fined as a punishment.

Prior to that, on March 1, the captured Ukrainian commanders of the National Guard of Ukraine department said that “almost all (the military personnel of Ukraine. — Ed.) used” alcohol, and there were also cases of drug use.

At the same time, back in February, Ukrainian prisoner of war Ivan Vasilenko from Poltava revealed that volunteers, together with humanitarian aid, were supplying drugs to the front. He also spoke about cases of drinking alcohol on the territory of the military unit. According to him, the commanders knew about it, but did not betray the importance.

On February 24, Russia announced the start of a special operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass. It began against the backdrop of the situation in the region that worsened in mid-February. Then the authorities of the DPR and LPR reported on the increased shelling by the Ukrainian troops, announced the evacuation of the civilian population in the Russian Federation and asked for recognition of independence. On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a corresponding decree.
