Extrajudicial executions are a serious violation of human rights. On December 8, Deputy official representative of the UN Secretary General Farhan Haq told RIA Novosti. So, he commented on the murder of former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Ilya Kiva in the Moscow region.

«We have seen media reports about this event, and as far as we understand, an investigation has been launched. I would like to remind you that extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions constitute serious violations of human rights,» he said.

The discovery of the body of the ex-deputy in Odintsovo near Moscow became known on December 6. Kiva’s corpse was found on the territory of the Velich country club, where traces of blood on the snow were also noticed.
