Explosions sounded in the Chernihiv region of Ukraine, the Ukrainian edition of Klymenko Time reported on May 11.
It is noted that an air alert has been declared in the region. In addition, sirens are heard in the Sumy region.
Details are not given. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has not commented on this information at the moment.
Earlier in the day, an air alert was reported in the Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Kirovograd and Sumy regions, as well as in the Kiev-controlled areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. In addition, the Ukrainian media wrote about explosions in the territory of Sloviansk.
On the night of May 10, the Ukrainian media reported on an air alert in the Dnepropetrovsk region. It lasted approximately half an hour.
Later that day, the head of the regional military administration, Nikolai Lukashuk, said that an industrial enterprise and a gas pipeline had been damaged in Nikopol in the region.
Russian troops began to strike at critical objects in Ukraine from October 10, 2022. As Russian President Vladimir Putin explained then, this was a response to the terrorist actions of the Kyiv regime, in particular on the Crimean bridge.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in turn, noted that all hit targets are related to the military potential of Ukraine.
