The sound of the explosion was heard in the city of Sumy in the north-eastern part of Ukraine. This was reported on July 24 by the Telegram channel “Public”.

An air raid signal has been declared in the Sumy region.

The Russian Defense Ministry has not commented on this at the moment.

Also on this day, explosions were reported in the south of the Odessa region. According to the Ukrainian TV channel TSN, electricity was lost in several districts of Odessa, but at the moment its supply has been restored.

Russian military personnel began to strike at critical Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10 last year. As the head of state Vladimir Putin noted then, this was a response to the terrorist actions of the Kyiv regime, in particular on the Crimean bridge.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which the Russian leader announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
