Ukraine may disappear as a state by the end of 2023 due to the difficult situation in the country. This was stated by former Pentagon adviser Douglas McGregor in an interview with journalist Stephen Gardner.

“I am not sure that Ukraine will exist by the end of 2023 as a nation state. <…> The situation inside the country is horrendous, the losses are horrendous, ”said Colonel MacGregor.

He also noted that the Western media are silent about the real state of affairs in Ukraine and constantly mislead the public.

On April 7, Douglas MacGregor explained the failure of the Ukrainian nationalist tank attack by the presence of anti-tank missile systems in Russia that could destroy Western armored vehicles.

Earlier on the same day, Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, noted that the Russian military carefully monitors all incoming information about the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and takes it into account when planning a special military operation to protect Donbass. So Peskov commented on the statement by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken about a possible counteroffensive of Ukraine in the coming weeks.
