The Verkhovna Rada supported the proposal of President Vladimir Zelensky to extend the martial law in Ukraine.

This was told in his Telegram channel by the people’s deputy from the «Voice» Yaroslav Zheleznyak. According to the decision of the People’s deputies, the special regime in the country will be in effect at least until May 25, 2022.

It is known that bill No. 7300 was supported by 300 people’s deputies.

The document provides that martial law in Ukraine will be extended from April 25 for 30 days. Thus, martial law will be in effect until May 25 of this year.

According to the law on martial law, Ukraine may introduce:

-compulsory labor service, alienation of personal property,

— restrictions on movement,

-curfews,

-a ban on the sale of weapons and alcohol,

-a ban on mass events and strikes,

— restrictions on the operation of communications and the Internet,

-a ban on military service to change their place of residence.
