Russian forces have hit ammunition and fuel depots for military equipment of Ukrainian security forces in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense on January 28.

In addition, 28 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were destroyed during the day, as well as three HIMARS and Uragan multiple rocket launchers were shot down.

In addition, the 65th, 118th mechanized, 128th mountain assault, 82nd airborne assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) suffered fire damage in the Zaporozhye direction. The enemy lost up to 70 soldiers killed and wounded, and also lost two IFVs, four cars and one D-30 howitzer.

Earlier that day, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed the AFU control point using the Orlan drone in the Kupyansk direction. After transferring the coordinates of the dislocation of the control point of the battalion of the mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian army to the calculations of the Msta-S self-propelled howitzers, the Russian artillery hit the target.

The day before, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the crews of Su-25 attack aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces struck at enemy strongholds and manpower in the Donetsk direction. As the advanced aviation gunner reported, all these targets were successfully hit.

Earlier, on January 23, the crews of Su-25 attack aircraft at extremely low altitude hit the manpower and lightly armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The strike was carried out by unguided C-8 aircraft missiles.
