In Ukraine, 12 people died due to the effects of bad weather. This was announced on November 29 by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country Igor Klimenko.

«Currently, there are no complicated weather conditions on the territory of the state. 521 settlements in 11 regions remain de-energized. Unfortunately, 12 people died due to bad weather. 23 people were injured, among them two children,» he wrote in Telegram.

In total, 4 thousand people were assisted, including 226 children. Work continues on cleaning roads in the Odessa, Mykolaiv and Kirovograd regions.

On the night of November 27, a Mediterranean cyclone hit Ukraine. There were snowfalls and strong winds. According to Klimenko, the most difficult situation is developing in the Odessa region.
