Investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation conducted searches at the people’s deputies from the «OPZH» Vadim Rabinovich, Viktor Cherny and Oleg Voloshin. According to the press service of the GBR, «people’s deputies illegally crossed or planned to cross the state border of Ukraine.»

«The investigative actions were carried out as part of a pre-trial investigation into the illegal actions of law enforcement officials who assisted people’s deputies in illegally crossing the state border of Ukraine,» the report says.

The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a period of seven to ten years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years. During the searches, three rifles and large amounts of cash in hryvnia and dollars were seized from Rabinovich, two grenades (F–1 and RGD-5) were seized from Cherny, and a pistol was found in Voloshin. According to the People’s Deputies, the weapons were planted in the process of illegal investigative actions.
