While monitoring the Internet, the Kiev police saw a video of illegal actions against the Roma. The investigation identifies those involved in this incident. The communication department of the Metropolitan Police reports this on Facebook.

In the Goloseevsky district of Kiev, on Saperno-Slobodskaya street, unknown persons burned the tent of the Roma, and beat its inhabitants. The incident was caught on video. This incident was registered in the journal of a unified registration of statements and messages of the Goloseevsky department of the capital police.

Law enforcement officers have already talked with the author of the video publication. Now the police are identifying the victims. Both the author of the publication and volunteers joined the work. Based on the collected data, the investigation department of the Goloseevsky police department began criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art. 161 (violation of the equality of citizens depending on their race, nationality, religious beliefs, disability and other grounds, combined with violence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of a fine from 500 to a thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens or imprisonment from two to five years.
