On the night of Friday, December 24, an unknown person threw a can of flammable liquid into the fence of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Lviv.

This is reported by Department of Communications of the Lviv Region Police.

As a result of the incident, no one was injured, no damage was caused to the diplomatic mission.

Law enforcement officers establish the circumstances of the incident and conduct priority investigative actions.

Police investigators opened criminal proceedings under Article 296 (hooliganism). The Criminal Code.

The pre-trial investigation continues, and the identity of the attacker is being established.
