The explosion occurred on Sunday evening, July 16, in Kharkov. This was reported by the Ukrainian edition of «Strana» in its Telegram channel.

It also published a photo with thick clouds of gray smoke that rise, presumably from the explosion site.

After that, electricity was cut off in some districts of Kharkov. As of 19:30 Moscow time, an air raid alert is also sounding in the city. No official information has been received from the authorities.

Earlier in the day, an explosion also sounded in Ukrainian Sumy. Details were not given.

The RF Armed Forces began to strike at critical Ukrainian infrastructure facilities on October 10 last year. As Russian President Vladimir Putin noted at the time, this was a response to the terrorist actions of the Kyiv regime, in particular on the Crimean bridge.
