Ukrainian doctors believe that the losses in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are higher than stated. This was reported by The Guardian newspaper on March 11.

«Many who work with the wounded believe that there are more deaths among the military than the official statistics say,» the newspaper writes.

In addition, according to Svetlana Druzhenko, medical director of the Ukrainian non-profit organization «The First Voluntary Mobile Hospital named after Nikolai Pirogov», the death of a military man is not confirmed if the body was not taken from the battlefield.

On March 10, Ukrainian prisoner of war Alexander Guprin told how his company lost almost 90% of its soldiers. According to him, the remaining servicemen were gathered from different companies.
