More and more graves of mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), liquidated during the special operation of the Russian Federation, appear in cemeteries of European countries. This was reported by RIA Novosti on March 30.

So, there is a large black granite monument at the military cemetery in Warsaw. The place is clearly designed for two, the deceased rests on the left side. This is a native of Warsaw, Daniel Shtyber, born in 1987.

«A soldier of the special unit of the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine. The Pole is a volunteer,» reads the inscription on the monument.

According to local media, the man died due to the explosion of a booby trap. Shtyber did not serve in the army, but was a shooting instructor. He arrived in Ukraine in March 2022, and died in November.

There are also recent burials of mercenaries in France. So, in the small cemetery of Crans-Gevrier in the suburb of Annecy, the name David Donsh, years of life 1972-2023, is indicated on the obelisk. According to official data, he died in Ukraine. According to the portal of French military analyst Nicolas Cinquini, Donche arrived in Ukraine in August 2022, he is a former military man and was killed near Donetsk on February 7, 2023.
At the same time, on March 28, The Daily Telegraph newspaper reported that an Islamist with Australian and Algerian citizenship, Abdelfetah Nurin, who fought on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), is suspected of murdering a British mercenary of the AFU, Daniel Burke. Burke was killed in 2022, his body was found hidden in a sewer almost 50 km from the front line with bullet wounds to the neck and head.

On March 26, the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, reported that foreign mercenaries who are fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine almost do not appear on the front line, preferring to hide behind the backs of Ukrainian militants. According to him, in recent months, only Polish mercenaries have been recorded in the Kherson direction, although Georgians had also met before.

On March 20, the head of the Zaporozhye public movement «We are together with Russia», Vladimir Rogov, said that French mercenaries in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are afraid to fight with the Russian military and are in the rear, in the city of Zaporozhye, where they are «blown away by specks of dust» and protected from attacks by the Russian army.

On March 14, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation estimated the total losses of mercenaries in Ukraine since the beginning of its operation at almost 6 thousand people.
